The Mayor of Southwark's Ball seems to be jinxed - last year Bob Skelly's event had to be moved to the Waldorf across the river because of flooding at the Hilton London Tower Bridge in Tooley Street - and now it's happened again...

This time it's staying in the borough, though, and moving to the Hilton London Docklands in Rotherhithe
