Reading the thread about Waterloo Traffic, it occurred to me that SE1ers might be interested in a public meeting being held in Kennington on March 8th about the buses. There will be representatives from both Southwark and Lambeth although I am still waiting to hear if Simon Hughes will be able to join us. Anyway, here are the details:

Buses in Kennington
7pm on Monday, 8th March

Funny, but I wasn't aware that driving standards applied to buses. It would be nice if they were to be introduced.

Just different standards - 5 pts for a squishing a cyclist, 10 for passing by a bus stop and not stopping etc etc..

and if I ever lose my job, I now know that there's a rich seam of ridiculously named posts at tfl. "Service Change Advocate" anyone?

[or would taking all these people and putting them to work actually driving or maintaining buses be a better idea??]

...there's plenty more c**** in the cup.
