Memories of old Waterloo Library

Anyone stil remember the old Lambeth Public Library located in the area of Upper Marsh/Balylis Road/Old Vic Theatre? Anyone have/know where to find pictures of how it looked from the inside? From the age of 2 in 1949 I lived in the Stangate Buildings, Lower Marsh and from about the age of 10 to 12 I helped out in the library almost every evening (no television then!) organising and sorting the children's section. It was an enjoyable, responsible and satisfying past- time - and educational too although I didn't realise it at the time. I still have many happy memories of that experience in those (more) innocent days.
