These pesky leaf blowers were fired up prior to 8am this week again on Alma Grove. I can't understand why the council persists in using them - they are noisy, smelly, polluting and far more expensive to buy and run that a broom! When I live in California they were actually banned by the local council to create a more peaceful environment. I've written to the council before but to no avail. Anyone else care to write a few lines...

i am behind you on this cant stand them .
always having to wash my car also,GERRRRR

A broom? A BROOM!!??? Sounds too much like hard work for Southwark Council employees......:p
