188: bus route of misery

Yes, but sometimes they refuse to give you a transfer ticket...or say, "you don't need it."

Had to get the 188 to and from TBR - Russell Square today. Bus both ways was nice and new - as in brand new, with a new car smell. Didn't change drivers at E&C on the way out and driver change on the way back was very quick - perhaps a minute or so. Has the 188 turned over a new leaf, or was I just very very lucky?!

p.s. no, I haven't got a new job working for Abellio!

Wow, hmmmm -- keep us posted! The cynic in me thinks it was just luck... :)

Also, rode a fresh, new 188 bus back from Strand that did not stop for a driver change at E & C. Unfortunately, the traffic was horrific. It's time for London buses to get priority at traffic lights...
