Excellent!
Now we've all established that it exists, when are we having a party there?
Cider, sandcastles, hankies....bliss
{for anyone wanting to recreate a more European vibe, you'll have to bring your own thong, German accent and daft-tennis-like-game-with-no-point=at-all}

From the March tide table on the Port of London Authority Website
it looks as though yesterday morning, following Saturday night's New Moon was the lowest tide of the month. However, I suspect that the gales brought the river close to shore for most of the day, and would have made any attempt to walk under London Bridge on the foreshore in your wellies a rather hazardous endeavour.
The next good chance for beachcombing should therefore be the low tides around 18-20 April (New Moon on Sun 19th)

Party? Yeah! when? where?
Anchor brewhouse not recommended for evening parties - I gather that the gate gets locked at variable times of evening and theres not any other easy way out! Next Sat early lunchtime there would be enough 'beach' to have a picnic and a few pints of cider Ivan, but I dont recall there being that much proper sand on that bit. Best sand is at the National Theatre, closely followed by Gabriels Wharf and a bit under the Millenium Bridge, all easily accessible by stairs 24/7 (may involve climbing over small gate). Lowish evening tides all this week. Thursday would suit me fine.
Beachcombing does not need to wait for exceptionally low tides. Walking under London Bridge does - even with wellies. Foreshore under London Bridge only a suitable party venue for those wanting to dress in long rubber legwear - at 8am. Count me out Rabbie - although you could try asking people at Wicked or whatever its now called.
(btw Ivanhoe, my postie is a good postie and I'm sticking up for him, so please issue a slight amendment to your latest signature)

Thanks Ivan - but more importantly, when are you joining me for cider on the beach?
The Lady Miss Jo Jo Wednesday 24 March 2004 12.09am
Surely it's TUMJ?
As oppose to TLMJJ.
Though my postie's good too, so maybe you have a hybrid form in your signature to cover us both?
And I'm up for booze anywhere, any time...

Perhaps it was my mention of booze that confused him temporarily.

And my sudden enthusiasm for partying.
(though I can assure everybody that I'm not turning in to you, and there's definitely no chance whatever of me wearing high heels)
