Strange Signs and Portents

Something strange is going on around here.

1) Fake shop on Lower Marsh - shop sign says 'Amber Rose'

2) Big 'Gym this way' signs all up the Cut

3) Sign outside the Palaestra building on corner of Union St and Blackfriars Bridge Road 'Urban Centre' with an arrow pointing down Union Street

4)Shiny silver and black sign 'Academy Costumes' on wall next to the Union Jack pub on Union Street.

Can anyone explain?

3) Contemporary Urban Centre (which formerly had the riduculously long name of 'Novas Contemporary Urban Centre London Bridge Bankside')

4) Academy Costumes is real and on Rushworth Street. Been there for ages.
