Rothsay Street facelift

Just heard that Southwark Councillors have approved a £60,000 Cleaner, Greener, Safer Grant application made by the Jam Factory Residents' Assocation in conjunction with their local neighbourhood Residents Associations, Haddon Hall TMO and Decima Street TRA (Meakin Estate).
The £60,000 will be added to the £183,000 Jam Factory Section 106 funding for improvements to Rothsay Street - bringing the current funding package to £243,000.
In making their decision, the Councillors praised the combined efforts of three residents associations working together to put together a joint application.
Nice example of local co-operation. Looking forward to what's apparently going to be a smartened-up link between TBR and London Bridge Station. I think there's a presentation of the plans happening somewhere this week - not sure where, though.

Thanks, James. Knew this site would have the answer :)
What with this and the Rockingham allotments initiative it's clear there's currently plenty of get up and go in this neighbourhood!
