Stop procratinating! If you want to do it, just go for it. I write (nothing as exciting as novesl) and just do bits every now and then when I feel like it. Just keep on going with it, and then re-read and tweak, but don't start over again. Getting it published is easy, I can send you some details of a publishing company.

Just don't think it'll make you rich, but it's sooooo nice to see your work in print with proper covers and all!

Thanks, Tattie. That last kick up the bacside might just do the trick and I would be interested in the name etc. of that publisher. You can send me a PE if you would prefer it not to be broadcast. Never even dreampt of making my fortune out of writing. It started as occupational therapy and then became an enjoyable hobby....When I found the time. Money and vanity, if there was any, would just be an added bonus to the staisfaction and fulfillment a published work would, I'm sure, bring.

I'm just checking back with my publisher - should get this soon.

Chalkey - it's not easy to make time, I know. I spent years fiddling about with bits of writing here and there before deciding to commit a serious amount of time to writing. I did a year-long part-time course, followed by an MA in Creative Writing (and am now doing a PhD). I have small children, which doesn't help with the time aspect (gave birth within hours of getting the final proof corrections to the publisher last summer...) But Tattie has a good point - just keeping going is the important thing.
