I got a leaflet delivered by the postman today from Val Shawcross. On the back page it had in light grey text ELECTION COMMUNICATION, the name and address of a neighbour and the neighbours Electoral Register No.
The postman just had a bundle of Labour leaflets and didn't notice they were individually addressed so he posted them all in the wrong letterboxes along with a BNP leaflet, which wasn't addressed and a LoveFilm letter. Hardly a major security issue if everyone has a neighbours name and Electoral Register number, but irritating none the less.
At least Simon Hughes leaflets arrive in an unsealed addressed window envelope which can be reused.

got the same labour, bnp and lovefilm flyers today...also delivered randomly

Saw Simon Hughes handing out leaflets and chatting to people alongside a party worker outside Borough tube last Thursday - no camera crew in sight.

I'm not surprised that Val Shawcross and Simon Hughes have been spotted out and about.

I've had 2 leaflets from her which is the same as I've had from the Lib Dems but more than I have received from anyone else.

I've not seen any of the candidates for this consituency so far but that is probably just random. I saw Kate Hoey driving her little mini down Lower Marsh last week.
