I've always liked the Scotia bar, not too sure if that's near enough?

I think it's called the Scotia bar - or something very similar, it's on the east side of Bermondsey St. very close to Leathermarket.

the pub itself mightnot appear too brilliant, but they do sell Calendonian beer - Excellant stuff!

Righto.
Popped into Rose last night for a couple. Nice place, decent guinness, pool table, footy on [cannot believe The @rse managed to scuff another draw - lucky bstds !] and a fairly pished crowd that I could blend into.

Will try that Scotia Bar later in the week that Jon recommended.

Any other more lively places around ?

Heh heh newbies ! don't you love 'em ? heh

me?! a newbie?!

I've been in SE1 for more than 2 years now!

I've been reading the SE1 forum for a few months, but havn't realy had much to say, until you mentioned a place near a pub I'd been to.

I'm not paid very much, so I tend not to go out as often as I would do if I was paid a lot more, so you'll have to bear with me if I make mistakes!

I'm sorry.
