There must be a shop in SE1 that sells ribbon? It's one of those time when desperately don't want to have to face central London.

Paul there was a stall at the elephant inside the shopping centre on the ground floor.
failing that you could try the stall at the top of east street that sold button lace trimmings etc. (going down towards old kent road, right hand side, hope its still there as it was such a lovely stall)

It's still there - not sure about the one in East St though.

thank you both! actualy i'm just back from east street and found a lovely little trimmings shop called the honeybee (i think). east street has it all :)

I've not tried it, but the knitting/needlecraft shop on the Cut must be worth a look.
