Wow, this seems to stink of NIMBY-ism. No offense to those legitimately opposed, but I can think of A LOT worse things that could open in this space than a -- by London standards -- very delicious pizza restaurant. I'd take a Papa John's on the bottom of my building than some off-license liquor store any day of the week.

It should be noted that they only have planning permission to open until 11pm Monday to Saturday and 10pm on Sunday. So they'll need to get planning permission for their new hours even if they do get an extended license (including 2am Friday/Saturday).
