Inconsiderate Neighbours in Leathermarket Street

Consent has now been granted to repaint the doors and windows with this colour.

My initial thought was 'How drab' - but now I think it will look alright, and be a vast improvemen. How slow the wheels of progress do turn.....

There is a chap painting it at the minute.

It's a bit lighter than the swatch I think but you can never really tell until it's dry can you.

It'll dry darker. Should we go down with the swatch to ensure it's correct? Demand to see the tin. :-)

I will have a look later, when I take my neighbours' dogs for a walk. Only yesterday I wondered if it would ever be repainted! When it is finished, perhaps we could have a 'Goodbye to the Garish' celebratory glass of fizz outside and send a photo to the SE1 Forum? :-)
