Southwark Bridge Road

Does anyone know why they have started digging up Southwark Bridge Road AGAIN on a Friday evening? Anyone locally have any warning it was going to happen?

Noise is incredible

Apparently they have permission to dig up the road (right outside a residential block) over night until 6am in the morning - but as Southwark council have so kindly told us... "don't worry the main noise should be finished by 2.30am"

I am guessing no one else received notification of this?

We had a notification from TFL today. The CS7 Cycle Superhighway is being implemented along Southwark Bridge Road and they will dig up the road between the bridge and Southwark Street on the night of the 22nd of June.

In our case, the noisy work is supposed to be completed by midnight...

I got a notice about the work to be carried out last Friday mentioned above.

I didn't get any notice about the work carried out last night on Southwark Bridge Road south of Great Suffolk Street.

Anyone else woken up at 3am this morning?
