Curlew Street and removed resident spaces

Hi
I have seen that there are a number of London streets that now have had residents parking spaces removed for bicycle spaces. Whilst I absolutely understand the greener and fair elements of this, I am somewhat concerned that we are losing so many residential spaces. Only the other year did the council change spaces on Queen Elizabeth Street to pay and display. Then they remove approximately 8-10 spaces on Curlew Street for the bicycle scheme. As it is I find it difficult enough when I leave early in the morning and come back at any point during the day to find a residential parking space. I have a small child and finding it increasingly difficult to get the spaces we used to have. Now I am finding I have no alternative but to park in Q Park. Is anyone finding this a challenge too?
