If that's worthy of a prize, I'll apply for one for our balcony.

And the prize was a clinical waste bin.
Unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong end of Trinity Street.

Take a five minute walk from here to the corner of Webber Street and Great Suffolk Street.

There are six newly planted (in small containers for some reason) but almost dead trees surrounded by cigarette butts and empty beer cans.

I'm rather jealous at the pride people around in Trinity street seem to take in their local surroundings.
The little things make a difference.

It would have been good if someone had taken a bit of resposibility to at least water the trees in the tubs which were put there by the developers of the new building. Perhaps El Vergel could hijack them - I doubt anyone would object. Maybe the trees died because they were pot-bound? Dunno.

Walked through Trinity St Pavement Pizza last night with Mrs I. Told her that it had won a "Green Corners" award.

She looked entirely bemused. I think she's still waiting for the punchline, despite me repeatedly insisting that it wasn't a joke.
