Hi Guys

Where is the best place to go for nightlife in London for a tourist?

I'm not looking for any alternative or specific music scene just plain old generic pop/dance/rnb/commercial.

Ideally close to Picadilly Circus, Leicester Sq, etc, etc.

All suggestions are welcome.

For a tourist, stick to Picadilly/Haymarket area, and north of there into Soho.

Tiger, Tiger (at the top of Haymarket) seems to be pretty popular with out of towners looking for generic party music. They hide the William Blake theme very well, though.

o'neils on wardour st is always good for a party open till 2am or later.
Zoo bar @ leicester sq is always fun ( downstairs is better)

if you want a bit of rock/metal try intrepid fox or 12 bar rythm club both just off charing cross rd. both have interesting music and even more interesting types of people.

the 100 club on oxford st has great live acts on , pays to check whos playing first.

heaven in villiers st for a fun dance night, sometimes gay , sometimes not, but always a big mix of all varieties of peoples

suggust that you check time out magazine and TNT magazine to see whats happening where, im sure you'll find something up your alley.

have a great time visiting london
