Hello Forum friends!

Does anybody knows what is going to happen to the rainbow building in Crosby row. Is a huge building completely empty in such a central area. It looks so depressing...
Any news regarding its future?

Yes it is in the process of being redeveloped. The plans that have been shown to the local residents show the church being retained with flats above.

It is still used quite a bit, there's normally a function or gathering most weeks and St Hugh's the church is still going strong. I hope the redevelopment will mean that it gets used even more.

Thank you for your post. As a resident of I haven't been shown an plan... But it is god to know that it is going to be redev. Is there any link to the project?

The planning application for the redevelopment of the Rainbow Building and St Hugh's will be considered by Bermondsey Community Council on Wednesday.
