Just to say that if you are, or know, the two guys who I witnessed being verbally abused and followed by a group of rowdy women, feel free to get in touch via PM.

It would not have been safe to get involved directly, unfortunately.

N.b. I won't be discussing this further on the medium of a public chat forum so please no non constructive or smart-alec questions from unconnected persons!

take care of yourselves folks.

It is important for anyone who is a victim of hate crime to report it.

Details of how to report it to the police can be found at - http://www.met.police.uk/csu/hatecrime.htm

A quick Google search also provides details of agencies who will report to police on your behalf or assist you in making a report.

If you aren't willing to report it directly to the police you should consider reporting it to GALOP. They explain why and how here - http://www.galop.org.uk/quick-help/should-i-report/

That's terrible. I live very close to the Elephant and Castle. Can you let me know which side of the Elephant it took place? I've never had a problem round here and I have no intention of letting a problem start if I can stop it.

Thanks

Who knows? I struggled to understand everything apart from the first sentence of the OP, so I'm definitely not a smart Alec.

...if you press it, they will come.
