Perhaps the Hartley should be marketing itself as a playhouse rather than a gastropub - must say I'm very tempted to go along and catch the current production whilst it's still running.

Well it would seem from this thread that a number of people have had cause for complaint and that maybe the landlord has taken these complaints seriously.
I hope they sort it out because the bloke that runs it does seem like a genuinely nice guy. I'm sure no one wants to see it fail but could this be mounting evidence of the Gastropub backlash?

Love the idea of the SE1 awards. Perhaps James will oblige, when he's finished his finals, reconfigured the site (3rd time lucky?) and had a holiday.
