Waterloo East theatre recommendation

If you want to see a good play for a good price in a great place in SE1, I thoroughly recommend "Tom Crean - Antarctic Explorer" at Waterloo East Theatre (Brad Street). It's a really engaging one-man show which has won awards at Edinburgh and has also been touring. The story is compelling and the actor, Aidan Dooley, is amazing.

I agree with Long-term local!
We went to see the Performance of Tom Crean last week.I saw the performance mentioned on the se1 events and bought tickets on line. Tom Crean came from Kerry in the Irish Republic, and went with Scott and Shackleton to the Antartic..the amazing adventures did not stop there. A spell-binding evening from start to finish with Aidan Dooley and another lovely little Theatre in se1 with affordable prices and a terrific atmosphere.
