Has anyone else used the ramps for the Boris bikes here? I find it almost impossible to use, the bikes are too heavy to be lifting and it's so narrow to get the bike on.

As it was purpose built I can't understand why they didn't replace one side of the steps with an actual ramp, as the steps aren't needed and it wouldn't need to be a big ramp, there's space there. I've noticed that all the spaces are in the high bit and it's hard to get one in the lower bit, so I presume that everyone else is having the same issues.

Yeah, I had the same issue last weekend when I picked up a bike. In the end I just pushed it down the stairs as the ramp was so narrow that I could get both wheels on.

Hmmm, Boris really said nothing there. Obviously it's just that me and Yeahok are useless and can't guide a heavy bike down a tiny steep ramp. What's wrong with us.

They are useless! there is pleanty of room for a full ramp, so why they installed these rubbish steps and tiny rail is beyond me!
