Anyone know where the tall ship that's just gone through Tower Bridge is from. Fab with all of them waving from the rigging! Looks like on the bridge lift times it might be going back out at 12.45. Shame they haven't got better weather for it.

Last Friday same time it was the Stavros S Niarchos operated by the Tall Ship Youth Truct, so it could be another one of theirs back from one of their trips.

Today's vessel was a training ship of the Colombian Navy:

It was beautiful... Wish I'd known about it earlier in the week as I'd definitely gone for a tour. This should have been a news item!

Thanks LK - though I guess this would have been more useful to know when I lived on the 78 bus route with trains from Liverpool St to catch!

On the same day as seeing the Gloria, I saw a HUGE 'super yacht' (basically a giant motorboat) coming in, with its blackened windows and two security guards posted out front. I was sure that's where Gaddafi would be found! It's called the Aviva. Anyone know who it was really carrying?

Eleanor, I believe it's another fine investment by Joe Lewis, of Bear Stearns and Tottenham Hotspur fame:
