Problem is, the Mayor wears a valuable gold chain, so she needs some sort of bodyguard to keep our bling safe, I s'pose she could leave it at home, and catch a bus.

they could equally (i know i'm blaspheming now) simply use their legs to get places?
getting rid of the limo might be a suggestion for the current, or yet another, consultation the council is doing, they've apparently put up the budget for 2012/2013 i think (not checked the council website but have read a message abt it somewhere)
