Met a nice young couple yesterday looking at St.Saviours school, they were from Australia and seeking the Church where a great great grandmother was married. Does anyone have a link for the demolished Churches of Southwark? I steered them to this Forum, I told them how helpful and nice every one is here, hope they followed it up¬

Was Southwark Cathedral anything to do with St. Saviours as I recall St.Mary Overie was linked? as John had one of these super duper gadgets he googled the cathedral, but I wondered if I steered him in the wrong direction?

I thought Southwark Cathedral is St Saviours Church. It became a cathedral in 1905 according to Wikipedia.
