The gangway onto HMS Belfast has just (12.40pm 29-11-11) collapsed into the river .
Massive rescue activity underway.

There was due to be a "BA Drill" between 1pm - 5pm today, with fire engines & cars in Morgan Lane. Seemed very calm & little activity 20 mins ago when we were out there. Glad everyone is fine.

Still seems to be lots of fire engines and police around. Hope they people taken to hospital are not to badly injured.
