Oh gosh, what happened? Which part of the NKR? People WILL dash in and out of the traffic and take silly chances, although there are perfectly adequate crossing points. Everyone is in such a hurry these days. Very very sad.

It seems that it was at a designated crossing point so I guess we'll have to wait and see whether he took a "silly" chance or if the White van driver was at fault. I'm surprised that it was Falmouth junction and not Harper Road.

Accidents are always happening on this part of the New Kent Road.

The traffic lights are deceiving there is no island in the middle of the traffic light crossing for pedestrians and drivers often miss the lights which are concealed and are situated on both sides of the roads.

There needs to be traffic lights in the middle of road with an island for both pedestrians and drivers to see and use.

Something needs to be done about this crossing, any suggestions, or who to contact about this will be greatly appreciated.
