Has anybody heard the folk singer who has sung on the riverside walkway around Potters Fields almost every evening for the past three years?

These days he seems to attract quite a sizeable audience (well, ok, 5 or 6 students chilling out).

That sounds lovely. Positively utopian, in a Ralph McTell sort of way.

Unfortunately, I never go along that stretch of the riverside "walk" these days for fear of being hit by cyclists as they whizz past at great speeds, heedless of the poor pedestrian.

...there's plenty more c**** in the cup.

Is it the one who dresses in a simlar manner to the new forest cider seller at borough market? I think they both shop at ye olde worlde buckskin shoppe.
Talking of cyclists down near there - has anyone ever seen anyone succesfully manage to cycle the silly little bike with reverse steering that is run as an 'atraction' down there?
