Walking to work today I saw what looked like an albino blackbird among the silver birches at the front of Tate Modern.If any of the intrepid SE1 photographers can get a shot that would be good.

(no I had not been drinking and it is not April 1)

I got a blurry shot on my iphone the other day and will be venturing out this weekend with a camera!

It's albino if it has pink eyes, else it's leukistic. While we're waiting for a local shot, here's a leukistic sparrow in my garden in NJ:







I suppose they have to be bold to compensate for being conspicuous.

in that case it is not an albino, it had dark eyes and a blackbirds yellow beak.

Is it just me or does that white bird look quite aggressive in all of three pictures?
