southwark were selling the site for housing, so presume sold to a developer.

Yes, the garages were sold along with St George's Mansions, the block fronting Blackfriars Road

the Imbibe pub and Blackfriars cafe have also been sold. it's the whole block. anyone know if it's in a conservation area?

A recent application to demolish and redevelop the Imbibe site was withdrawn after the Georgian Society and others objected.

oh good! I was told the pub was sold as part of the whole site, is that not the case? and know if any societies are already on the case with the mansion block?
