Good to see this, and a bit sad.
An old friend, David Crabtree, who sadly died in Sweden several years ago, was services director at United Newspapers, and organised the move from Fleet Street to the south end of Blackfriars Bridge, and the construction of the new building.
He was fully concious of the significance of the cartouches and the railway, and had them restored and painted as part of the redevelopment.

Having successfully completed Walk Like a Pirate with a few piractical companions http://tinyurl.com/22uaypo you can now see progress on the construction of the Pirates' new fully accessible broadbeam boat at http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=251686&id=715896645&l=10824e28bd
