Sick of all the push bikers jumping lights on Borough High St

I know of one set of lights where it's often the case that the red never turns to green... That's the St Jame's Rd / Lynton Rd junction . The lights are on a sensor and don't pick up one solo cyclist even when perfectly positioned in the line of the sensor.

Completely skewers the 'holier than thou' attitude and behaviour of some of those road warriors who seem to think Borough High Street is a leg of the Tour de France.
Now, if only something could be done to set a standard for acceptable body shapes stuffed into lycra cycling outfits. Some gentlemen really shouldn't...

Done: cyclists should NOT jump lights under any circumstances, even if there are no cars coming and cyclists are doing it to get ahead of giant buses and drivers. NEVER, EVER jump a light.
(Having said that, IF a cyclist breaks my rule stated above, the chance that they will kill/injure/harm someone is significantly less than if a driver or motorcyclist jumps a light in a 2 tonne machine.)
...if you press it, they will come.

Funny enough in the shopping centre at e.c. there was a elderly lady with a very big mobility scooter ( almost the size of a motor gucci!) suddenly did a turn on a sixpence move and the look on her face...she was determined to get exactly where she wanted with no slowing down...I would love to have one as big as that but I think you have you have to have road tax! I would be lethal at 3 miles an hour let us alone the 8 miles that some of them do!

Unsurprisingly the JRL situation has not improved, on the contrary, the bad weather seems to have made it worse - I walk through Borough Market as it is a shortcut. Now I have to put up with cyclists doing the same thing, probably to keep out of the rain - same attitude: how dare I, a mere pedestrian, impede their ride through an area that, admittedly, is not marked as pedestrian only (does that mean I could drive a Humvee through there?), so it invites to peaceful cohabiting, but instead it is again being hijacked by aggressive, smug cyclists who are incensed if you don't jump out of their way. They are no better than the bullying lorries as far as I am concerned.

Which part of the market? I would have thought it was safe to assume it was pedestrian only, and too packed to cycle through anyway.

Middle Row. I should have mentioned that this was Thursday morning, when stalls are still being set up. It is usually quite busy with people walking to work, people setting up stalls etc. so why people would think it's a good idea to treat it as a cycle path is a mystery to me. Well, not really, as I am used to it by now.
