Hi all,

Has anyone else noticed the large oversized lorry driving around Bermondsey Street for the last week or so? It has slowly driven up the street at least 3 times tonight.

It has yellow flashing lights on the front, tarpaulin hanging down the side, and needs to be assisted through tight spots. I have also witnessed it scrape a pedestrian bollard protector thing (er, what are they called;) and very nearly take a sign out. I just wondered why it keeps driving round, collecting huge queues of traffic behind it?

This is at least the fourth night I've seen it out.

Thanks

They have been delivering the temporary pre fabricated offices for the workers involved in the London bridge station redevelopment. The offices have been stacked opposite the railway arches on St Thomas St.

I've heard it as well as seen it.

I believe that kind of bollard is called a bell bollard.
