Nothing to do with hardcore music or pornography, this is a local history and culture podcast which has been going out weekly since last November. It often covers aspects of life in and around SE1, and there are episodes specifically about Elephant and Castle, and Borough.

The two hosts have a good knowledge of the history and the high and low culture of South London, but they wear their erudition lightly, which makes for a good listen.

No connection, I don't know them, but I really like the podcast.

When I hear Hardcore mentioned I think of Hardcore music circa early 80s, the crossover between Punk and Thrash by bands like DRI. Happy Hardcore is the rave dance music. Annnnnyway podcast sounds great and I'll give it a listen cheers

There have just been another couple of excellent SE1-centric episodes of the South London Hardcore podcast. Episode 43 is about Waterloo, and Episode 44 about the Menier Chocolate Factory.
