Popped into the Watch House St. Marychurch Street SE16 today. It used to be used to prevent grave robbers from digging up bodies from the adjacent church yard. Now just been converted into a quirky cafe that opened its doors last week. Three of us had a superb crepe each,it also does panini and a daily special. Very good coffee. Hope they do well as its a quiet area. No connection, I just live nearby!

Nice to see the building has re-opened. It was a very pleasant cafe/restaurant, some years ago. I used to work in the wonderful Old Schoolhouse, next door, when The Watch House was used to store gardening equipment for the Council's Green Team. Good luck!
