Is there still the little shop in Tabard street that was a renovator?

Hi Sue,
Have you thought of having a go and do it yourself.
There is a place called the Good life Centre that run workshops in Upholstery.
website The Good Life Centre. If not maybe they could give you some advice on where to go.

Good luck
Steve

I have nothing to do with the centre other than what I have read from SE1 website.

I recommend AV Fowlds, near Burgess Park off Camberwell Road. They did a great job reupholstering my sofas.

Just looked at Madamchairwomans site, beautiful chairs, my amateur attempts years ago seem pitiful when I looked at hers!

Thank you everyone.

I am waiting for a quote from Madam Chairwoman. I think it is a rather challenging job for me to think of undertaking as it is an Ernest Race chair and I want it to be right!
