I'm looking for some research participants for my study!

Women in their 2nd or early 3rd trimester are invited to join an undergraduate research study into their experience of mindfulness meditation during pregnancy. The study is organised by me, a 4th year student at the British School of Osteopathy, (a local mum) and supervised by a senior clinic tutor at the school's Expectant Mothers Clinic.

Participants will be invited to listen to approximately 10 minutes of mindful meditation audios a day, on a best efforts basis, over a period of 4 weeks, after which they will be invited to attend a 30 minute interview when they will be asked questions about their opinions and experiences of mindfulness and how it may have influenced them during their pregnancy.

The audio files are from a series of Mindfulness Meditations by Diana Winston, Director of Mindfulness Education at UCLA.
The study has Ethics Committee approval.

If anyone is interested in finding out more, please contact the researcher at v.diamond@bso.ac.uk or leave a message/text at 07843 193562."

Thanks very much, Victoria
