I am organising a dinner party for a 40th on a Saturday night in December and we would like to stay at home rather than go to a restaurant. Does anyone have any recommendations for home caterers?

They aren't cheap - we use The London Kitchen for corporate dinners who have a minimum spend of 1000 I think. Also try looking in the back of posh magazines like Tatler & Harpers & Queen who will have lots.

They are local but not sure what minimum spend is. They are great!

A friend in Boss House had some Thai caterers for a birthday party. They turned up with all food and cooking items, they cooked, served, cleaned and left. Excellent food quality.

I don't know what they cost but can get details if you are interested - PM me if you are.
