Hi All

Has anyone used a joiner recently to replace a full staircase? mine is rather unsafe (mixture of MDF and Pine) and I wanted to look into finding someone to replace the full thing.

It isn't something that seems to be done all that often but any advice would be great. In this case, I must also mention it isn't a simple job of just replacing the baustrade and spindles. The full staircase needs it (treads and all).

Hi Chloe,

We didn't use a joiner, but did use these people. Max Stairs.

Came out to measure up. Brought wood samples to match to our flooring. Once we'd chosen what we wanted, they came out to double check their measurements. Six weeks later they were installing it. One day to rip out the old stairs, second day fitting the new stairs.

No connection other than a happy customer.

Hi Exigo

Thanks for that. Any chance you might DM me a ball park figure for your stairs, how long you have had them in now and also how you came across Max Stairs?

Cheers and a huge thanks in advance! :)
