So as a regular to the SE1 boards I have had a search and can't find anything recent regarding eating out on a Sunday... Where would people recommend for a Sunday roast?

1. Where?
2. What Time do they serve?
3. Was it hot?
4. Portion Size?
5. How much ?

Go!!!!!

Thanks in advance....

The most recent thread on Sunday lunches was in February, so should still be reasonably useful:

No disrespect James but things change so quickly now in SE1 I do not have confidence that February comments are current...

I recently went to:

The Rose on Weston Street/Snowfields.

and

Roebuck on Great Dover Street.

We had a Sunday Roast in both places.

Both excellent. Highly recommended.

Kings Arms on Tooley Street and The Woolpack on Bermondsey St are both splendid.

Yes, both set prices and around 12. Thought portions in The Rose were bigger than the Roebuck.

We do a great Sunday roast at The Laughing Gravy

Kernel Porter marinated beef onglet with all the trimmings.
