Anybody know what was being filmed on the corner of Southwark St and Bear Lane today? Seemed to be a couple of vintage cars invivoled and some foreign languages. Didn't have time to stop and ask when i zipped by.

Can't help, but there was also filming in Snowsfields and Boss Street this evening as well. Obviously the day for it.

The Boss Street filming is for a re-working of Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime, to be set in the 1950s. David Walliams is playing Tommy Beresford. The production company is Endor, and it is set to air on the BBC next year.

David Walliams was filming on St James Road/Drummond Road the other week, by the Biscuit Factory - presumably it was the same thing.

How on earth can they update Tommy and Tuppence to the 1950s? The characters and the plots are so essentially 1920s.
