How far from the station are you willing to go?

The Roebuck on Great Dover Street, the Royal Oak (I think) on Tabard Street at the Borough End, Simon the Tanner on Long Lane. Also the Libertine and the Gladstone just off Borough High Street.

Seconded the Lord Clyde. The Britannia has had its ups and downs over the years but it seems to be a pretty decent boozer again

Not exactly Borough area, but:
The Ring - right across from Southwark tube
Kings Arms on Roupell St - one my favourites
Lord Nelson on Union st - really funky pub with equally funky burgers
The White Hart on Cornwall Rd.
