I see that property developer Russell Gray is continuing his mission to protect the traditional heritage of Bermondsey Street by planning a row of houses with roofs based 'in the manner of the Thames Barrier'

The development will also involve the felling of 12 Poplar trees.

Perhaps the Old Bermondsey Village Neighbourhood Forum will oppose the application?

Is there a purpose to the slopey skateboard jumps on the roof I wonder? Will they be visible to passers by at street level? To be honest I don't like the look of them.
