I am currently doing a piece of research as a volunteer for a local charity (http://casouthwark.org.uk/). I am trying to find out what people in my neighbourhood think about their local area.
The aim of the research is to get a sense of local community views and needs so that we can create a report to feedback to the local community council and start a conversation.
I am focusing on Cathedrals Ward, and would like to speak to, or hear from people who live in that area to find out:
Do you feel connected to your local community?
Do you feel you have a voice in decision making?
What barriers are there to being heard or involved?
What works well in your area? what do you think doesn't work well in your area?
If you live in the area it would be great to hear your views. I would be happy to arrange to meet to interview you. Or else you can reply to this thread or private message me.
This is all part of a project to help develop local Community Action Networks. You can find out more here: http://casouthwark.org.uk/get-involved/community-action-network
Thanks very much!
