Had lunch there today.
Soup was tasty, but thinner than you'd expect for tonkotsu, and it could definitely have been hotter.
Chashu was lean, but maybe a little thinly sliced.
Egg had been somehow made sweet (a marinade, I imagine). Not to my taste, but clearly to their taste.
All of these things are matters of personal taste, but the thing I couldn't get past was the noodles. They were cooked to have some bite - which is fine by me - but they were somehow hard on the outside whilst mushy and floury on the inside.
Gyozas had tasty filling with good texture, but I like them more when they have more of a crispy finish on one side.
Not overly impressed by the new place.
Bankside is better, imho, even though it's £2-3 a bowl more expensive.
...if you press it, they will come.
