Ooh Jan, I'd do some web searching about that.
Some of those tellies go for a lot of money.
?maybe start with eBay? And/or do a search on the maker and model.
Good luck...hope you get a good price.

...if you press it, they will come.

Sounds like the 1980s B&W Philips Discoverer CRT television.

Probably worth 150.00-200.00.

Hi Jan,
There's a shop just near Edgeware Road tube which specialises in vintage audio and tv equiopment. They hire a lot of stuff out for tv programmes too, might be worth a look to see if they are interested, they have two white Space helmet tvs ion the site at the moment.

Yes, what DID happen to the shop? I'd bought quite a few bits of 'brick a brack' (as their sign told us) and realise how much I miss it now, waving to Steve as he sat outside and I passed by. "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone" as I oft sing to myself.

Linda and Steve made their fortune and decided they could afford to spend more time with their family - Ben and his wife and child and daughter Iona.

It's still open, I see the current owners in there sometimes. It seems to be run by a yummy mummy type group of people and doesn't open very often.
