I've removed the thread (again).
Whilst there is no objection to people posting about their good and not-so-good experiences of using local firms, some posters went beyond giving their own review of the service they received and made more general claims of a nature I wouldn't be happy to defend in the event of a complaint.
Over the years there have been many occasions when I've been prepared to stand my ground when businesses have complained about things written on this forum.
It is easier to do this when posts are written in moderate language and stick to the basic details of what happened when using a particular business or service.
Some of the posts in the two threads which have been hidden would be absolutely fine if the authors toned down the hyperbole a bit.
