Mac computer set up help needed

I'm no expert, but I don't think you can/are meant to upgrade the RAM in an iMac - it's a sealed unit. I suppose a professional might be able to do it, but it would probably void your warranty.

I upgraded the RAM in my old MacBook, but that was easy because you could unscrew the bottom panel yourself.

Many iMacs have a memory upgrade door. You just open it and plug the memory in - it's a very simple job.

Youtube is your friend for this kind of thing. I've just completely dismantled my phone to replace screen, broken speaker and replace battery. Back up and running fine.

I've found these guys helpful when I've had issues with my PC - they also help with Macs. Always speedy turnaround and reasonably priced. Just off Walworth Road.
