I hadn't read this before I phoned Virgin to ask what was happening to my service on Saturday afternoon, when there was still no service. We ploughed through the list of turning it off, wait, turn on, do this, do that, take the batteries out of the handset, am I sure that I've put them back in the right way round? Then his prognosis was that the handset was faulty, irreparable, they'd send me a new one. My husband turned on the tv later on, not knowing that there was, supposedly, a fault, and naturally enough, there was nothing wrong. I wonder why Virgin were unaware of this area blankage ? We do have a nice clean handset for my troubles now.
